IV Graders of Riverside, attended our school for two days. The exchange program was fulfilling and knowledge enriching for both the schools. The students attended routine schedule of class IV, on 29/02/2012 and 01/03/2012.

First day was scheduled according to the regular time table. The day started off with sports period. The children selected sports according to their liking. They thoroughly enjoyed their classes. While they loved all the academic programmes, the Chinese Multiplication was the main attraction. The students of Riverside had come to experience a new surrounding and curriculum. This program was meant to familiarize and adapt the students of both the schools to a new learning environment. They were vibrant and excited at the end of the day.

Second day’s adage was ‘Celebrating Knowledge’. It was kick started with an art activity of making bookmarks. They exchanged it with each other as a token of friendship. Then the cultural programme commenced with ‘Shabd Antakshri’, in which they learnt a lot of new Hindi words. It was followed by skit by class V on “Ozone layer depletion”, which was an eye opener. An entertaining skit on ‘Tenali Raman paints a horse’ was also presented by the enthusiastic students of S.A.S. The students from Riverside in turn did a play on harmful Plastic bags.
